Printing brings a high added value to tissue products. For printing, this also means a new profit growth point, which deserves to draw attention to.

Airlaid napkins

Airlaid is a nonwoven fabric, also known as fleece, which is a textile fabric made of individual fibers. A nonwoven consists of fibers that lie loosely together and are not yet bonded to each other.

The strength of a nonwoven is based only on the fiber’s own adhesion, but can be influenced by reprocessing. In order to be able to process and use the nonwoven, it must be bonded, for which various methods can be used. Only a bonded nonwoven can be called a nonwoven. In colloquial language, this distinction is not made.

Airlaid napkins printing

Airlaid is a special nonwoven fabric made of cellulose and polyolefin fibers, in which a microsuperabsorber is integrated. It is used in the catering industry, e.g. for napkins and tablecloths, and in medicine for incontinence and absorbent materials.

The fabric-like napkins made of Airlaid are manufactured from an air-permeable fabric (Airlaid). They are especially high quality napkin for a higher demand.

These napkins are particularly tear-resistant, extremely absorbent and therefore the excellent alternative to a textile napkin. An airlaid napkin can absorb up to six times its own weight.
